Compatibilité Brosse Laterale Botvac, Fiabilité Botvac !!

Bonjour,

je viens d'acquérir mon premier Botvac 75 d'ocasion en panne qui, devrait a terme je l'espère rejoindre mes 4 XV ( Maison a étages avec des pièces qui ne sont pas toutes sur le même niveau...)
Mon premier constat en le vérifiant est plutot pessimiste, roulement de brosse HS, axe de brosse HS, logement du roulement dans le carter et dans la grille inférieure de fermeture déformé suite a la surchauffe du roulement, de la poussière partout , laser, ventilateur y compris dans les engrenages des roues motrices , brosse latérale qui ne tourne pas régulièrement, jeu dans les roues motrices ..
Bref, il y a clairement des gros défauts de conception, rien a voir avec la robustesse d'un XV ! tout a été optimisé mais, je doute clairement sur la fiabilité a long terme.
Certes, on va nous dire qu'il faut l'entretien après chaque passage ....quel intérêt y a t-il alors a avoir un robot, surtout si on a débuté avec des XV robustes !? D'autant plus que rien n'est accessible a moins d'un démontage complet .

Ma première question concerne la brosse principale:
Est ce que la brosse d'un VR 200 est compatible il n'y a que peut d'écart de prix par rapport a une brosse "compatible" botvac ( hors D) que l'on trouve en Chine ? le roulement est d'ailleurs traité différemment .... la brosse d'un Botavac D est peut-être comme celle ci ?? http://shop.vorwerk.fr/brosse-principal ... 0wodgzoPvw

The Botvac-D brush derived from VR200 can be used in the original Botvac by removing a small flange on the side of the case, making room for the expanded end cap of the brush. See German forum post with pictures at http://www.roboter-forum.com/showthread.php?11222-Neuer-BotVac-2015-!/page6
The opposite, drive side of the brush remains the same on Botvac, but on VR200 uses a spline shaft instead of the large socket.
The original Botvac used a vulnerable ball bearing on the end of the brush. The bearing is subject to wear from contamination, even when using the "sealed" bearing type. When the bearing freezes, the end cap spins against the case plastic, heating up and deforming the plastic.
The "D" brush from VR200 uses a bushing instead of ball bearing, similar to the original XV. The bushing does not break from contamination.
The "D" end cap will fit in the original Botvac removing a small flange on the side of the case. The original brushes can still be used as well without this flange.

The end cap for the new D brush will not fit into the core of the original brush because the core diameters differ.

The VR200 brush has the wrong drive side end; the Botvac-D brush is the one needed, with same bearing side as VR200 but the proper Botvac drive side mount.
I think the "D" brush is available separately, check listings. There was an initial period when it was not sold separately, but I think it has been available for some time now.
