Botvac ne s'allume plus :'(

Bonjour et bonne et heureuse année à tous et à tout vos robots!!!

J'ai déjà posté un sujet par rapport à mon Neato 75 qui affichait "ouvrez capot et allumez moi" alors qu'il était déjà allumé...
Trois ou quatre manipulations "nouvelle batterie" l'on fait repartir jusqu'au jour où je suis rentré et l'aspirateur était à sa base mais complètement éteint.....
La batterie affichait pourtant 14V mais impossible à démarrer.
J'ai donc opté pour une batterie neuve en lithium ion, mais j'ai été déçu de voir que l'aspirateur ne démarre toujours pas....
J'ai déjà eu un problème sur un circuit imprimé de Signature Pro qui avait quelques soucis alors j'ai entrepris d'ouvrir la bête, mais gros problème, le circuit imprimé est radicalement différent et les composants bien plus petits.... Aucune trace de chauffe ou autre......

Auriez-vous des informations pour faire repartir EVE? Mon Signature Pro Wall-E se sent bien seul....

14v battery is the level at the end of a run when a recharge is needed. A fully charged battery shows over 16v. The voltage is lower with the load of motors running.
Test voltage on the AnewPow lithium battery to insure it is not in "sleep" mode turned off. Not a problem if the system shows indicators off the dock, cpu running.

I've connected the Botvac on the Signature's dock and thé CPU is started!
Why the Botvac don't charge with his dock when the battery is new???
Now it's normaly the Botvac run correctly with his dock!!!

Connecting a Botvac to an XV dock could cause damage. The Botvac is a 12v system with 18v charger, XV 15v and 24v charger. The regulators or buck voltage converter (switching power supply) reducing voltage from the charger to the battery could get over-loaded. Destructive testing... Surprising it even works without an error message.
It appears there was a fault in the Botvac dock.

I've connected the Botvac just one or two minutes. When the CPU he's started I'veux connected on Botvac dock for finish charge.
I think the battery is down, Botvac work 30min and he said "low battery".....

Apres un XV 14 bien rentabilise pres de 5ans, j'ai craqué pour un botvac D75. Premiere charge recalcitrante mais fini par se faire le 2e jour apres un reboot batterie. Aspiration de tout l appart nickel et relance jusqu'à low batterie (1h15 env). Remis à sa base mais ne charge pas, l indication batterie n avance pas. Reboot batterie inefficace cette fois, deconnexion des batteries non plus. Check du voltage de la base donne 23v. C'est bien la base du botvac, je n'ai pas essayé d'utiliser la base du XV. Je suis surpris de lire ici que le voltage base neato serait du 18v. Ce que confirme l etiquette sous la base botvac!

If the battery has been charged more than 150 times there is always a question whether the battery is good. A good battery is needed to analyze problems in robots.
The battery can be tested over USB (Neato Control Program etc.) running the fan for a 1 amp load about 1/3 the full running load to see how fast the voltage drops. Or test outside the Neato with an external load such as a 12v 25watt auto lamp. Do not over discharge the battery. It is standard to have a new battery to test. Customer service always says to change the battery first thing. Difficult to avoid this cost. Some new batteries can be defective. If the old battery is good keep the new one for the future. For NiMh batteries, charge once every six months to compensate for self-discharge in storage (do not run with the battery).
