glnc222 a écrit:Commercial lithium batteries sold as replacements for NiMh batteries in Neato XV normally do not use switching the charging procedure to lithium with SetConfig USB command, unless specified by the seller. These batteries usually include an adapter circuit which makes the lithium battery appear as NiMh for the charger. The NiMh charger terminates when temperature increases when full. The lithium procedure terminates on a certain maximum voltage, 16.8v for Neato XV four-series pack. The temperature simulating circuit raises apparent temperature at this same voltage, so perhaps makes no difference.
Failure of the replacement to charge might involve defects in the adapter circuit. Temperature can be displayed over USB with Neato Control program for Windows, or Neato Toolio for Android and Windows, or with terminal emulator text commands.
